The Shakeup. San Jose, Costa Rica.

After spending the day in San Jose, I headed to the airport to meet my sister on her arriving flight. I somehow managed to arrive an hour early, so grabbing a cup of coffee, I parked it to begin my wait. As the people started to trickle out, I spotted my sister’s bright blonde hair in the crowd. As she came closer, I saw she was walking with another blonde-headed girl. Cool, I thought…she made a friend. Then I realized I knew exactly who she was with…my cousin. Continue reading

I Love This City. San Jose, Costa Rica.

Waking up early that morning, I prepared myself for the long day to come. After eight hours on a bus and a complicated border crossing, I found myself back in San Jose, Costa Rica. Once the decision was made, I jumped on a bus and headed south to the beach. Continue reading

I spent a few days around town drinking as much coffee as possible, and felt like it was time to finally make it out to where the beans were grown. I choose Selva Negra due to it’s close proximity to Matlagapa, which made this into an easy day trip. Continue reading

The Chase Continutes. Matlagapa, Nicaragua.

My Latina and I were still actively pursuing each other, yet due to our language barrier, it has been quite a difficult chase. Numerous conversations on the phone has left me with much confusion, only to find myself laughing on how crazy this whole idea is later on. Continue reading
